According to a recent report by the American Heart Association, there is a much higher risk of cerebral venous sinus thrombosis (CVST) blood clots due to serious COVID-19 illness than due to vaccination. "The risk of CVST due to infection with COVID-19 is 8 to 10 times higher than the risk of CVST after receiving a COVID-19 vaccine," lead author Karen L.
