Fingerprinting requests during the COVID pandemic are still available provided the following additional measures:

• Applicants will be asked if they are displaying any current symptoms of COVID-19?
• Applicants will have their temperature taken before being fingerprinted to make sure they do not have an elevated temperature.
• Applicants will be required to wear a facial mask during the fingerprinting process. They may bring their own or the Jail will supply them with a facial mask.

Fingerprinting is available to the public for school, job opportunities, and adoptions.  The cost to be fingerprinted is $25.00.

Appointments for fingerprinting may be scheduled based on availability during the following blocks of time at https://scottiafp.permitium.com/fingerprint/start

Monday through Friday:

• 12:30pm-12:50pm
• 12:50pm-13:10pm
• 13:10pm-13:30pm
• 14:30pm-14:50pm
• 14:50pm-15:10pm

Sunday:

• 10:15am-10:30am
• 10:30am-10:45am
• 10:45am-11:00am
• 11:00am-11:15am
• 11:15am-11:30am

No appointment times are available on Saturday.  County observed holidays may limit availability on weekdays.

Required:

• At the time of your appointment, a state driver's license or state identification card

If paying in cash, a kiosk is located in the Scott County Sheriff’s Office Visitation Center that will allow you to pay and schedule an appointment.  Same day service is not available at this time and appointments will not be taken over the phone.
