West Lake Park.

West Lake Park is a 620 acre facility offering four lakes for fishing and/or swimming. A boat dock, parking lot, handicap fishing dock, beach area, and paddle boat rentals are available for the water enthusiast. For the landlubbers - the park offers picnic facilities, playground areas, modern restrooms and two campground areas with electrical, water, and/or sewer hook-ups. Both camping areas have handicap accessible comfort stations.

Come out to the Wapsi River Center to kick off the fall season! We will make lighted glass luminaries with guidance from Friends of the Wapsi Center Member Susan McPeters. After creating some lovely fall art, we will take a fall tree hike then enjoy some Apple Cider! This program is great for all ages!

Please bring your own glass jars (at least 2) all other supplies will be provided

Come out and celebrate spooky season! Learn all about bones and how to identify different skulls. Take a hike to search for bones in the Wapsi Woods, then conclude with a delicious campfire-cooked S'more!

Learn how to use a bow and arrow in this Halloween themed, informative, free, and fun hands-on class. You’ll learn safety and proper archery techniques according to National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP) guidelines. Children must be in the 4th grade* and above to participate. Your targets will be Zombies! 

*Children must be accompanied by an adult to participate
