On January 4th, 2017 Scott Emergency Communications received a call of an accident involving a train and car in the 23000 block of Great River Road. They dispatched deputies from the Scott County Sheriff’s Office, along with LeClaire Fire Department, and MEDIC Ambulance.

Upon arrival deputies discovered a 2009 Dodge Journey was crossing the railroad tracks from a private drive attempting to access Great River Road. A train collided with the front of the vehicle causing damage to the vehicle. The driver sustained injuries and was transported from the scene by MEDIC Ambulance. The driver of the vehicle was identified as Lisa Stanger of Davenport.
