Scott County provides major medical insurance coverage to all eligible full and part-time employees pursuant to policy. A prescription drug benefit is included in the medical plan, which covers the full cost of prescribed covered medications after a co-pay is satisfied. Additional information concerning insurance benefits will be provided upon enrollment and is available via the Summary Plan Description links below. It is your responsibility to contact Human Resources at 563-326-8767 if you have a change in your family status. For a new baby, marriage, divorce, etc. it is important that these changes are made as soon as possible but within 31 days of the event.
A portion of the single and dependent premiums are paid by the County. The employee share of a single medical and Rx premiums is currently $40.24 per month and the employee share of family medical and Rx premiums is currently $277.58 per month. Premiums are divided between the first two paychecks of each month.
