SCAM Alert – *Law Enforcement does not call and demand payment*

The Scott County Sheriff’s Office have received reports again that SCAMMERS are identifying themselves as employees of the Sheriff’s Office and using the names of our personnel.  We have also received reports over the weekend from Registered Sex Offenders and that they are being targeted from information found online. In both situations these SCAMMERS are demanding payment otherwise a warrant would be issued, it is a SCAM.
