The following policies were approved January 7, 2021 by the Board of Supervisors:

General Policy 34 "Technology Use" has been updated to address telework arrangements. At the beginning of the pandemic we quickly shifted to permitting telework arrangements. Because of the nature of our work, telework does not lend itself to all county work activities. Telework remains a departmental decision based on the nature of work. During the pandemic the ability to telework has allowed staff to remain safe and still perform valuable work. As the use of telework in some departments continues for the next six months due to the pandemic or possible future needs, we felt it was important to formalize the policy and procedures that were established in 2020. As many forms expired in December, your department may reach out to you to update the form, equipment and procedure.
