Public Meeting to Obtain Input on Proposed Park View Rental Registration and Inspections Regulations

Notice is given that Scott County will hold a public meeting to obtain input on proposed Park View Rental Registration and Inspection regulations.

Such proposed regulations may and could require registration of multifamily rental units, background checks of current and prospective tenants, landlord training, written leases, rental licenses and inspection of rental units for multifamily and town house units  within Park View.

Such regulations may and could also provide for determinations that could result in fines and possible revocation of rental licenses for failure to comply with the general regulations, property maintenance requirements or any determination of public health nuisances or nuisance activity as defined by the regulations.

This public meeting will be held at the Eldridge Branch of the Scott County Library, 200 North Sixth Avenue, Eldridge, IA at 6 PM on Wednesday, December 4, 2019.
