Dear Scott County Resident,

 

On Saturday, July 25, 2015, approximately 20,000 cyclists with RAGBRAI will travel through the west side of rural Scott County and end in Davenport. The same route will be utilized in rural Scott County as in 2011. The cyclists will enter Scott County on Hwy 6 (F58) from Durant eastbound to Walcott. The route will travel through the City of Walcott and then proceed three miles southbound on Y40 (70th Ave) to F65 (160th St). The route will continue five miles eastbound on F65 and enter the City of Davenport, southbound on Utah Avenue from F65.

 

The hours of travel for the cyclist are expected to be approximately 7:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. The heaviest amount of cyclist travel is expected between 10:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. If you must travel on the route, please expect delays.

 

The intersection of F65 (W. Locust St) and Y48 (110th Ave) will be closed to motorist travel until approximately 3:30 p.m. Residents that live on Y48 south of the intersection, will need to access their residence via Hwy 61.
