The Iowa Department of Health and Human Services (IHHS) announced a new initiative to provide naloxone (the opioid overdose reversal medication) to Iowa organizations, businesses, and schools, in the event that their employees, agents, or volunteers encounter someone experiencing a suspected opioid overdose.
