Reappraisal Project for Bettendorf Residential and Ag Dwelling Properties

To ensure current, accurate, fair, and equitable property assessments, the Scott County Assessor’s Office has contracted with Vanguard Appraisals Inc. of Cedar Rapids, Iowa (www.camavision.com) to do a residential property revaluation for the City of Bettendorf starting August 2015 and continuing through December 2016.  This project includes door-to-door property inspections by appraisal staff for all residences in Bettendorf.  To ensure the Assessor’s property data is up to date and to verify current condition of the property, appraisers will be doing a very brief interior inspection of residences when permitted, and also verifying exterior measurements of the improvements. 

It has been 14 years since appraisal staff did door-to-door inspections in Bettendorf.
