Cemetery Description Given by Original Transcribers:
The Evans Cemetery is located in the N1/2 of Section 8, T. 79 N., R. 5 E. of the 5th P.M., Princeton Township. Tradition says: Those buried there were 3 Scouts killed by Indians. Now it is just a pile of rocks out in the field. The deed of the land states it must be left alone. Evans owned the land at one time and then Brunner owned it. (see 1882 Atlas page 18 for Brunner property) Above information obtained from present owners of land, Mrs. Foster Auliff.
