THE FUTURE OF BACK-SEAT SAFETY
The Auto Industry and regulators begin to focus more on rear-seat safety.
Researchers and automakers are developing new ways to keep passengers safe.
Some of those ways that are being looked at are:
Virtual Crash Tests, Rear-Seat Airbags and Personalized Safety (automatically adjustments to the individual).
Safety considerations for all-
Continue to have children until at least age 2, in rear-facing child seat, or until they reach height and weight limits. Older adults should consider sitting up front, due to posture and bone strength
Regardless of age, always buckle up, reduces risk for severe injuries and/or ejection from vehicle.
