Leadership Movie Club is returning this winter! Join us on December 6th from 9AM – 4PM at SECC for a day focused on leadership lessons from the movie Remember the Titans. It’s no surprise that we selected another sports themed movie to focus on leadership skills as sports and leadership seems to go hand in hand. Remember the Titans is based on events from the true story of a black head football coach at a desegregated high school in 1971. The film details the leadership practices that Coach Boone employed in order to inspire change and top performance from his players, the journey the team had to travel in order to achieve success, and how respect and inclusion are foundations for winning teams. Our leadership lessons will be led by Chris Battell and Donna Honold who will break down the movie and guide us on how we can lead for true teamwork, not just group-work.
