The Scott County Board of Supervisors along with the Scott County Sheriff invites the public to a groundbreaking ceremony for the new Scott County Sheriff Patrol Headquarters located at 3206 South 16th Avenue in Eldridge Iowa. The groundbreaking is scheduled for Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at 10:00 a.m., weather permitting.

Media are invited to the event and are encouraged to promote it to the public.

The Scott County Board of Supervisors selected Wold Architects and Engineers, located in Palatine Illinois as the architectural firm for this project in April 2014.

Conlon Construction, located in Dubuque Iowa was awarded the $4,550,000.00 construction contract in March 2016.

Construction of the 21,000 square foot facility is expected to be completed in April 2017.
