The McCausland fire department and other surrounding fire departments will be conducting a DNR approved controlled burn around 4PM, Friday, March 6, 2020 at the McCausland Wildlife Preserve, located just east of McCausland.

The controlled burn is estimated to last between 4-5 hours.

McCausland Fire Chief Anthony Dipple advises smoke from this burn may become visible to residents and commuters on the major highways and interstate.
