DESCRIPTION:

Participants in this full day event will gain insight from experts in the field as they discuss lessons learned from actual events and response efforts. Presentations will provide firsthand information to first responders, support agencies, businesses and non-profits, community partners, and elected officials who will be responding, managing and recovering from a large scale disaster.

This program is a collaboration of the Iowa Service Area 5A Health Care Coalition, Rock Island & Scott County Emergency Management Agencies, Rock Island & Scott County Health Departments, Genesis Health System, UnityPoint Health-Trinity, US Army Garrison Rock Island Arsenal, American Red Cross, Rock Island County Medical Reserve Corps, Community Foundations of the Great River Bend, Scott Emergency Communication Center, Rock Island Regional Office of Education, and Eastern Iowa Community Colleges.
