Public Notice is hereby given to all qualified voters in Scott County, Iowa, that a Special Election will be held on Tuesday, March 7th, 2023 between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. for the purpose of approving or denying public measures for the Bettendorf, Calamus-Wheatland, Davenport and Durant School Systems.
For the Bettendorf Schools Special election to be held on March 7, 2023, voting centers will be available. Any registered voter of the Bettendorf School System may vote at any of the following places in this election:
For the Calamus-Wheatland Schools Special election to be held on March 7, 2023, voting centers will be available. Any registered voter of the Calamus-Wheatland School System residing in Scott County may vote at any of the following places in this election:
For the Davenport Schools Special election to be held on March 7, 2023, voting centers will be available. Any registered voter of the Davenport School System residing in Scott County may vote at any of the following places in this election:

Pre-registered voters are required to provide an approved form of identification at the polling place before receiving and casting a regular ballot. Voters who are not pre-registered – such as voters registering to vote on election day – and voters changing precincts must also provide proof of residence. A voter who is unable to provide an approved form of identification (or prove residence if required) may 1) have the voter’s identity/residence attested to by another registered voter in the precinct, 2) prove identity and residence using Election Day Registration documents, or 3) cast a provisional ballot and provide proof of identity/residence at the county auditor’s office by March 13th Noon. Election Day Registrant attesters must provide an approved form of identification. Attempting to Vote more than once is a crime: Iowa Code Section 39A.2(3) A person commits the crime of election misconduct in the FIRST DEGREE if the person willfully votes or attempts to vote more than once at the same election, or votes or attempts to vote at an election knowing oneself not to be qualified.
Voting in this election shall be on an optical scan and ballot marking system.

Public Notice: A public test of the optical scan and voter assistance terminal to be used at the March 7, 2023 Special Election will be conducted February 28th, 8:30 a.m. The public test will be conducted at the Scott County warehouse 1400 Lancer Ct, Eldridge. A test of the Absentee Board optical scan terminal will be conducted following the warehouse testing and begin no earlier than 10:00 am at the Scott County Auditor’s office at 600 West Fourth Street, Davenport.
