Scott County is currently experiencing telephone service problems for many Offices and Departments, SECC, Waste Commission, Scott County and Davenport City Assessors, Iowa Courts, and HHS as of the afternoon of Tuesday, September 10, 2024. 

The problem we are experiencing is with inbound calling to the Scott County landline phone system from various cell phone providers including AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon.  The issue has been reported to be impacting service regionally at this point.

No issues with 911 service from cell phones or landlines have been reported.  

This telephone service issue is unplanned and as such the duration of this degraded service is unknown.
